Now that's fantastic, especially with the brown tweed jacket!
I really like the sporran you have on as well. Is that a watch chain slithering out?

It's a beaut! Nice with the brown boots. And belated 'Happy Birthday!' Hamish, I didn't spring in on the other thread...

No, Schultz, the chain is part of the closure fitment on the sporran which is one of a beautiful range produced by www.leathersporran.co.uk

Kongratulations on kilt 64! ...and on your birthday, too!
That's a fine looking kilt; hard to believe it's made of denim... also hard to believe that you're 70!
.

I think in honour of your 70th birthday, that you should hit 70 kilts this year

Thanks, RR. You're too kind, but alas 'tis true! Yes, I was also surprised to discover that it is actually a denim fabric. It is very soft and pliable - nothing like any denim I have seen before, but when you handle it there is no mistaking that certain 'something' that IS denim.

Well, Colin, if you're paying.........!
Seriously, I imagine it is a possibility as I have three more coming before the end of September (the Cornish National tartan (within ten days or so), the Snakeskin leather (any time now) and the Shepherd or Northumberland tartan (mid-September). I am also thinking of arranging for a couple of kilts from your side of the pond to be delivered to me whilst I am in Palm Springs, California in October. So yes, it's a possibility!
