I damn near went blind looking , but I see at least five, maybe six different tartans in that pic. Two of the pipers are wearing a similar tartan, can't tell if they are the same or not.

    Tartan?

Forget the tartan! Need to get closer to investigate the tattoo. Somehow, I don't believe the picture is really of the tartan.

Ok, now it's some kind of challenge. I see the guy up front in the green and white kilt. Higher up is a band playing. There are the drummers with their backs to us all wearing the same tartan. The pipers facing us are all in a red tartan. (Inverness? Too many possibilities) Then at the top of the pic is a guy with a badger sporran in a light blue and green kilt. (Anderson?) That's 4 different tartans. What am I missing?

After many hours of study, I still can't find any tartans...

At least she has the figure to pull it off! I have witnessed acouple at the local Ren. Faire, that had no business in an outfit like that..

I'm with you, Big Paul. At some Ren Faires the period clothing and the bodies are in visually in conflict with each other. Sometimes I feel embarrassed for the person, at others, insulted. Maybe it’s just my problem, but I’m a very visual person who has standards that visually I don’t want to see crossed. I’m told, by my daughter, that I’m far too particular, but that’s me.

I know what you mean....a few years ago I saw a woman in a Xena costume. She had an adequate figure and statute for the costume, but looked about 55-65 when she turned around, it scared the group I was with!

    Sometimes it doesn't work!
