Well Duh! I love the stuff, but tend to buy it by the drink so don't see the box very often. $85 a bottle is a little steep. Caol Isla at $65 is about as high as my sporran reaches.

I keep a bottle on hand but only break it out on special occasions.
I still have 1/3 of the bottle that I bought duty free while in Scotland 2 years ago. But I also have a full bottle as a reserve. I just bought it on
sale at a red dot (liquor) store in SC.
I see that Rob also has Laphroaig and Ardbeg.
Two that I drink more frequently.

Yes. I find both of those to be QUITE drinkable, and keep either or both on hand. A liquor rep told me that Ardbeg has the highest phenol count (gives it the smokey/peaty flavor) of all the single malts. I don't know if that's true or not, but it certainly could be. Perhaps someone out there has done more field research than I have.
