Boy, are we a bunch of kilt junkies or what!?

I'm waiting on a Red Scott hand sewn 16 oz strome from Kathy Lare at Kathy's Kilts.

A Dress Model Freedom Kilt in maroon from Steve Ashton.

A special order Gordon Red casual from USA Kilts

A special order Cladish casual from USA Kilts.

I've lost count...I really have...just know I still have four on order.

I guess you're expecting me to contribute to this thread, so here goes:

Having just received No.65 (the Cornish National tartan from Cornovi), I am now waiting for three more -

    1. The Snakeskin leather 6 yarder from TFCK. The office called yesterday to tell me it was being despatched in the afternoon, but the Postman has already been today so I guess I'll have it tomorrow morning - watch out for the photos!

    2. The Northumberland (or Shepherd) tartan 8yd 16oz from Geoffrey (Tailor). That's due in the second week of September.

    3. A Freedom Kilt, Dress model in navy blue. Steve tells me that he's off to the East Coast of the USA soon, and will be back at the end of August, so I'll probably receive this one late September/early October - hope it's before 6th October when I set off for California!

When I see Howie (TFCK) in September, I'll most likely be giving him my order for another tweed Argyll jacket, my 5th.

I have a 9 yard,16 oz. Ancient Lamont tank on order from Matt Newsome at the Scottish Tartans Museum.

We are indeed a bunch of addicts, the only cure is to order another kilt.

I'm in the queue for a Freedom Kilts Dress Model, in Charcoal.

There's a black Argyll jacket and waistcoat headed this way, as well.

    Which means I'm skint!

On the one hand, I really want to get a box-pleated Newsome kilt.

On the other hand, I just spent my birthday money on a workman's UK and I really can't put anything else on the credit cards. The UK just arrived today, by the way. I love it.

Ordered a 9 yard MacTavish Modern from e-kilts two weeks ago, the estimate was 8 weeks for the mill to weave the fabric and 2 weeks to make it.

It's being shipped out here to dodge the high UK tax. So maybe another10 weeks all going well. The should be a little fingers crossed smiley!
