WOW...I mean...WOW. Thanks for sharing those. You don't get a feel for the size of those rocks until you scroll further and see the tiny people below them.
Did you wear you kilt all weekend at the Nationals?
Absolutly beautiful !!! Just loved the picture of Ash cave. Benn there many times myself. It's like the Grand canyon (well sort of) in that pictures don't do it justice. Thanks for the post.
Wow indeed. I go up to Ohio at least once a year and I've never even heard of this place! Thanks!
Kilted Teacher and Wilderness Ranger and proud member of Clan Donald, USA
Happy patron of Jack of the Wood Celtic Pub and Highland Brewery in beautiful, walkable, and very kilt-friendly Asheville, NC.
New home of Sierra Nevada AND New Belgium breweries!
Thanks for the photos. They bring back memories of when I was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB and went to Hocking Hills to photograph in the 80s.
You would barely recognize the surrounding area now. In the late 80's, there was NOTHING around there. Had to drive 10 miles to find the centrally located mom & pop store. Now the whole area is full of campgrounds, resorts, lodges, B & B's, and shops. Sad to see the development but good to see more people are enjoying the area.
Sorry, haven't figured out how to quote more than one post in a single post

No. Had a bad kilted experience at Chryslers at Carlisle. I think car shows might not be the best venue for introducing some of the more, um, unrefined folks to the joys of kiltdom. At this point, I only have the 1 kilt in the pictures and I have found that absolutely no one knows it is a kilt. I will certainly wear kilts to car shows in the future but right now I am still a bit gun-shy.
