Thanks for the warm welcome. I'd post images of my kilts but I don't have a digicam. My sister took the photo you see of me here. Due largely to the aftermath of a truly ugly divorce, I can't just go out and buy anything I lack, so it may be awhile before I can post pics. Am I bitter? Not like I used to be.

Yes it is. I live at the north end of town just east of (appropriately enough) the community of North Highlands, home of the former McClellan AFB (now an industrial park).

Welcome from an hour south of Sack 'a Tomatoes. I've lived there, worked there, had children there, etc... Not big on Ren Faires; just started going to highland games a couple years ago. I do a little kiltmaking, too, but your sewing expertise appears much more developed.
