I'm coming to Vancouver

Well, my hike from Mexico to Canada is getting closer to finishing...I'll be at the border around the end of September.

However, because I have to walk the remaining 950 miles, I'm not sure exactly when I'll be arriving in Manning Park.

Is there a regular Vancouver kilt night, or should it be organised? Of course I don't know when I'll be there, just that it will be sometime between the 25th of September and the 3rd of October. Or somewhere around there.

I'd love to get together with the folks up north, and show off my 5,000+ mile Bear Kilt. If someone has more information, please post it both to this forum and to my travelling email: haiku @ pocketmail . com (I'm not likely to be able to read this forum again until I'm in Washington).

Hope to see some of the Canadian bretheren!

In an email, Andrew answered the above question with, "No, no, after I get to Manning Park, public transportation will be good enough for me!"

I give it an 80% chance that I'll be at a kilt night to meet him. I am studying education right now, so if the night coincides with a mid-term exam or a practicum, I'll have to pass.

Andrew should be in town in the next week I would assume. He has my number and Raphael's. I am in Victoria on Thursday and Friday, but am hoping to meet up for a pint or two. Any other Vancouver (and surrounding areas) kilties interested in join the meet up?

I just read Andrew's Blog and he will be finishing the PCT today. I think the Kilts Night is going to either Tomorrow or Wednesday. It looks like we are going to have two kilts night this week.!!
