Over the years, Carol and I have enjoyed the pastime of browsing thrift stores for the excitement of finding that diamond in the rock pile (which, we have). Lately, after seeing your previous thread, Mr. Dalglish, I browse the men's jackets sections very carefully looking for just the right jacket to be modified. On one or two occasions I've spotted some very good candidates. But alas, we know no tailor with the requisite skill and understanding.
