Here's a few more snapshots from the evening:

    Kilted newbie

First off I'd like to publicly thank Alan H. for making my kilt, it looks & fits great. If it weren't for Alan I don't think I'd ever have worn a kilt. It would have been near impossible to get me in a kilt but since Alan had made it I felt obligated. I never thought wearing a kilt would feel so comfortable, and after getting over the initial jitters it was great (except I haven't figured out how to sit yet). Now I just have to find more occasions where I can wear it, I'm not Scottish so I'm also trying to figure out a way to incorporate my Greek heritage into kilt wearing. Thanks again Alan H.

Captainjak - welcome to the forum and the addiction. If you're looking for a few occations to wear the kilt, may I suggest a few that I use; sunrise, sunset and anytime I feel like it!

My pleasure! I'm glad it fits. I was bummed to have missed the evening, but then Joan and I had a good excuse...we were backpacking in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.

I'm glad it fits well, and welcome to X-Marks!
