Looks nice, now I'm really itching for my USA! I didn't pay rush order though... delayed gratification. Those flashes match up really well too. They are green, matched to a predominantly green tartan, but the shades look about the same...which shouldn't be surprising given the source.
Even though I had it measured at the mid belly height I seems to want to go to the hips because I'm like 2x4 shaped. I try and wear it high though. My next one is definately going to be a henderson, like my cousins, maybe not so expensive. Definately a ramsey after that, I love the bright electric blue, black and white. Then maybe some heritage with a maitland or hopper. We'll see, I do plan on havin quit a few kilts in my time. I can't wait to see the pics of your USA, they look great.

Ramsey is a rather nice sett. My USA is still a few weeks down the road. Ha ha ha... I was too miserly to pay for the rush order. But then again, I'm not in a hurry, as I splurged on many kilts/kilt related things recently. It's ok though... it's for a good cause, no? The Irish National does look pretty neat. I'd consider getting one, but as far as I know, I have only a tiny smidge of Irish from my father's side, and given my birthplace, I tend to favor the Scottish side of things; to be fair, I want to get a kilt in the German national tartan though... my mother is German, and she harps at me from time to time about it... I try not to let one side of my heritage overshadow the other.
