I will most likely be going to the Calgary games. Canmore is prettier, but at the Caglary ones I don't have to worry about an hour and a half drive, outrageous rates (if you can find a room) and there for I can enjoy the beer tent more lol.

So I decided to change what I'm going to wear. I'll be wearing my black jacobite shirt and green hose with my red Grant kilt. Just thought I'd let you know in case you spot me and would like to introduce yourself.

I was wearing my "Xmarks" t-shirt and SWK Hunting McLeod kilt. We must have missed each other.

I did run into one fellow from here, though. Brendan (can't recall his screen name) and his wife were watching the heavy games. He was wearing his dark brown Workmans UK. Nice folks, wish I'd had more time to chat.

Wow, were there alot of people there! And hot!! Too hot to take pictures, almost. I snapped a few, but not as many as I'd planned. I'll post some later once I resize them.

The weather was incredible! I was roasting in my t-shirt and SWK, I can only imagine how the pipers felt in their full outifts.

Next year we'll have to set up a meeting point or something so we can all get together. I spent alot of time over behind the food tents watching the Highland Dancing. I know the father of one of the competitors and we sat talking for a few hours.

Darn, I wish I'd read this yesterday. I would have offered a ride up...you could have drank enough beer for the two of us and not worried about getting back home. LOL

Next year, perhaps.
