It is just a color, but its also an ugly color. You have to know what colors work for you, and pink, yellow, red, and even white do not work for me as far as tops go.
Blues, greens, browns, and blacks are great. I can even do purple (I have a fantastic shiny purple shirt) or maroon, but "bright" colors dont look good on me, regardless of connotation.
The breast cancer awareness and donations are a good thing, but I do want to bring up a point. The numbers for prostate cancer are almost identical, though it affects mainly men.
• Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in America.
• In 2006, over 232,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and over 30,000 men will die from it.
• Because prostate cancer is a relatively slow-growing cancer, the 5-year survival rate for prostate cancer diagnosed at all stages is 98%. The relative 10-year survival rate is 84% and the 15-year survival rate is 56%.
So where is the brown shirt donation link?
