To my knowledge, UK takes a great deal of pride in only buying American-made fabrics, paying a solid wage to its seamstresses and making them all in Seattle.
They have gotten awards from their area's Better Business Bureau for their innovative business practices. They've actually discontinued certain fabrics because they couldn't get them made in America. That's what drives their prices up a bit, but they consider it worth it.
I tried finding their BBB award news but couldn't as they're still converting their website. I found a copy of their initial press release, though:
