I've always enjoyed the History Channel. I don't have cable at this time though, which is a bummer. I have a handful of their productions, and I am glad that I have those.

It was a good show, and they stuck to what they could prove through records and archeology, while giving their best guesses based on what else could be gleaned.

They did prove pretty convincingly that Scotland of the 13th Century was no backwards backwater country, but a pretty rich and powerful land, with a wealthy and well educated ruling class, the beginnings of a modern society, and worldwide trade linkages.

I was impressed with the way they brought that up, myself.

I know a couple of the individuals that were in the show, so that made it doubly enjoying.

Thanks for the "heads up" on the show. Watched it last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. Pretty sophisticated architecture and stone work in the 13th century. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

    Cheers! Bill

Did anyone DVR it? I've been trying to find it, but no luck!
