Me too. My mother's line has a branch of English Loyalists that retreated to Canada after the Revolutionary War and married up with Paladian Germans who I believe were in the English ranks and decided to stay over on this side of the pond when the fighting was over.
Didn't the English and the Germans exchange royalty?
