I live on the San Francisco Peninsula, and the school district is Sequoia High School district. It'd be through the adult ed department.

I *think* the District adds on a fee on top of what the Instructor gets so the final cost might be closer to $45. I'd edit the X-Kilt manual a little bit and sell them for $5. If the tartan kilt class flies, then I'll have to write another manual (which I'll give away to you guys and gals) and sell it for $5 to the participants. I note that a lot of 10-week classes cost $60-90 so $ 45 is a touch on the high side, but still pretty reasonable I think.

Figure that poly-vis tartan will run about $21 a meter, plus shipping (call it $30 a meter) from The Kilt Store. If they buy 2.5 meters, then that's $75. The thread is $5, the straps and buckles are about $15. A meter of cheap cotton lining material is about $5. Add in the cost of the class @ $45, and when They're done they'd have a nice 5-yard casual kilt for $145. If they can score a good deal off of ebay for the PV or find some poly-wood twill, then likely folks could halve that amount.

I wonder if people will go for it....
