Firstly this is a picture of my wife, my niece and, my sister. That said what do you think of using a polo style T under a Braemar jacket. It gave a more casual feel I liked it I just wondered what you lads think.
You said it: It's casual and thus no special rules apply. I think it looks very smart. As for the short-sleeve thing, the fancy sleeves on Argyll and Braemar jackets cover shirt cuffs anyway.
The combo looks comfortable. Polos work great with kilts - so no problem taking your jacket off either
I'll second that.
Its only this year that I've discovered that polos and kilts work so well together for casual wear so I'm grateful for the idea of adding a jacket as the weather gets cooler. I like the semi-casual effect it creates.
After I tore my eyes off of your niece I decided that I thought it looked pretty good. However, I'd agree with Panache, a more informal jacket like a tweed would probably work better. But the principle is good.
