Been talking privately via MSN Messenger to Al about this... Tues/Wed is fine for me... There is the Celtic Bayou in Redmond, which was recommended by one of the guys on the UK Yahoo! group... Could also meet @ Atlas Foods in the University Village mall in Seattle...

Robert,
I might be able to convince them to drive the 180 miles (or 360 mi roundtrip) to Portland... Did tell Al about Powell's Books. So, who knows.

A trip to Portland or Vancouver might be possible, we really don't have a set schedule to follow. Perhaps Jamie can meet up with us as well. We'll have to see how things go once the date gets a little closer.

I'd love to try and meet up!
Never been to the Celtic Bayou, but I'm willing to try it out.
There are also any number of microbrews in the area, as well as a few faux Irish pubs.
Al, what part of Seattle will you be staying in? No sense in picking a place you won't be able to get to.

Would really like to meet up with you on your visit. The Celtic Bayou is pleasant spot with a nice little selection of micro-brews. I am fairly open for either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Right now it looks like we'll be staying in the Mountlake Terrace area. We're driving down so getting around won't be an issue.
The Celtic Bayou sounds like an interesting place. I know my wife will enjoy the food there, she likes stuff like that.
