    Turkey is the only country I have seen kilts being sold on the street.

    In Antalya a couple of years ago, I came across a street vendor selling plain light brown kilt-like wraps. Presumably to cover up when leaving the beach.

    No problem wearing my own kilts, tartan or plain, while I was there.

    Fascinating country -- just hope the fanatics don't take over.
