It would be cool to have a specialty coffee, say maybe "The Highlander", with a smokey/peaty flavor! Like if you dropped a shot of Laphroaig in it, minus the alcohol of course..

I wore my Buzz Kidder into Starbuck's this evening. I'm still zinging from the triple espresso latte! Best of luck to ya.

Congratulations on your upcoming venture, Jay. I assume your coffee shop will be in the Richmond area? If so, I'll have to stop by after you get it opened, kilted of course. I also like your idea of the PSD tartan and the Iraqi Freedom theme.

How about "Highland Brew"?

Great idea, Highland Coffee. It designates Scotland and the Mts. where it is grown. One aspect of a coffee shop might be to start your own roast?

But the most important thing -- in the interview did you mention working kilted? Enquiring minds want to know!!
I talked to the manager yesterday, and she in turned talked to the district manager, and I am approved for a tan or black kilt. Has to be plain, and has to come to my knees. Now I have to find a utilikilt in my size. My Pittsburgh kilt is tan and MARPAT, and my all black is leather and kind of fettish.

I don't believe Starbucks employees in Seattle are allowed that option. I know they are pretty strict about visible piercings and tattoos.
Anxious to hear how it plays out.
Imagine that. The heart of Latte`land, home of the first Starbucks, not permitting the kilt while the dx stores look at code options. Only in America.

The highland coffee peas are studied to be the richest and more robust all around flavoring of all elevations for coffee growing. (I read that in a coffee table trivia book!) Hey! good fortune and hope the job goes well!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
