Layers, gotta have layers. It's hotter than..... and then turns around and is colder than..... Gets even worse when you get up to altitude....like the high deserts of Colorado.

Thanks again for the pic of my RAF tartan while you were at Kathy's.

I only put on 700 miles driving down and back to Phoenix Friday and Saturday. Driving long distance sure is much more comfy while kilted.

Thanks for the scenery shots too.

Great pics! And kilts are great for all kinds of travel. Had to fly to Chicago last week and flying in a kilt is so much more comfortable that I can't believe that more people don't do it!

I too take my Kilts while away from home. In face I was in Silver City, New Mexico last week checking on some family business.

I love wearing my Kilt at different places I am not usually at.

The next time you're there give a shout out. Great town for a kilt night and very close. Only 40 minutes to fly there from Sierra Vista. O'Neille

Those are great pictures. I've been in O'Niels put in Albuquerque many times myself. I had to rescue a buddy from his battle with Jose Cuervo in the john there once. Lots of great tattoo shops up there. I just can't seem to force myself to make the flippin' drive up there. I'm gonna have to at some point, want Kathy to sew me up a "New Mexico: Land of Enchantment" tartan kilt some day. Glad to see you enjoyed yourself. It really is a beautiful state here in parts. That O'Neil tartan is pretty snazzy. I can't wait to see it sewn up.

I just noticed. That wee beasty in the back ground (of Kathy's shop) is taking himself a nap on a portion of Henderson (ancient shade) tartan!
