The Filson vest is just another addiction. When I was a kid in the mines I had a Filson cruiser jacket, loved it. A few years ago I came across it, of course it was way to small, but went to the Filson website www.filson.com and got me one that fit.
Filson, being one of those ancient companies that first made clothing for the Alaska Gold Rush ain't cheap - but they offer quality goods you can pass on to future generations.
This is their wool vest. I took off their plain buttons and sewed on some buffalo head nickel buttons I found on the Internet. Anyhow, both their price and quality fit well with hand sewn kilts.
