That tartan looks much better in those pictures than the images I've seen.

I may be mis-remembering, but the Highlanders' kilts were specially designed by our own MacHummel, of Canadian Casual Kilts. He had to come up with a closure that would be comfortable enough, but also strong enough, to wrestle in.

The Highlanders are good friends of mine I made their kilts for them they are a bit modified for the ring. I didn't know Piper had his own tartan wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I too am a huge wrestling fan , I meet up with the highlanders through the band Mudmen, Sandy and Rob Campbell are world class pipers that head up a heavy rock band thgey also wear CCK's.

The Maple Leaf is my tartan of choice, as you can see from my icon!
In Days of yore,
From Britain's shore
Wolfe the dauntless hero came
And planted firm Britannia's flag
On Canada's fair domain.
Here may it wave,
Our boast, our pride
And joined in love together,
The thistle, shamrock, rose entwined,
The Maple Leaf Forever!

Cirthalion: I love "The Maple Leaf Forever" -- I have a great version of it on the pipes as played by the band of the 48th Highlanders of Canada. In fact, the Piper at our wedding played it, along with a French-Canadian tune (the name escapes me) as we left the church.
Regards,
Todd

I second the Maple Leaf I.D. It does look rather neat...the swatch pictures don't seem to do it justice. The colours blend very well.
