It's no use, I struggled with myself and fought myself valiantly...

But the Caledonia won its place on my list too!

Wonderful pics Hamish, as always. I really like the look of the Prince of Wales tartan.

Hey, great to see you again, Hamish, & your new kilts, too! I especially like the looks of the Caledonia & PoW kilts. I've admired the corduroy kilts at the UK stands at the last couple of Celtic festivals in AZ, but as you mentioned it's too warm for 90º+F weather (which we're still having this week in Phoenix), which means it's only cool enough in this desert town to wear a corduroy kilt a couple months out of the year. Oh, well...

I too like the beard. As you can see from the post for the Tucson Celtic Festival, I've become more hirsute lately myself. We must've started growin' 'em about the same time. Don't know what the impetus was for you to grow your whiskers, but for me, bein' a kilt-wearin' guy with long hair I find it helps avoid certain awkward misunderstanding as to my gender...

    Nice to have you back...

I will say amen to all those points, the tartan, the staff and the beard - fantastic.
I've said this before, I'm not thrilled with the statements on the back of either of the T shirts. Maybe I'm just conservative / non confrontational.

Hamish, you make getting old a myth!

Excellent Pics! I especially like the Prince of Wales tartan.
Everytime I see new pics of folks showing off thier new kilts, I keep adding to the list of what kilts I eventually want to get, AND keep changing my mind on what to get next!

The beard suits you. Definately a good look for ya.

Hmm... The Caledonia = badass. But the Prince of Wales tartan does look really nice too. A semi trad from Rocky is also on my list of things to get in the near future. Too bad it's holiday season!
The UKs look alright... not my favourite style, but I can see their application, and how many others would like them. The courduroy is neat though!

Ham, those are all fine kilts, but the Caledonia is AMAZING with the green shirt and hose! You've outdone yourself!

Oh, and welcome to the Bearded Brotherhood as well. Nothing like a bit of facial foliage to complement the kilt…
