As I posted in another thread, sometime early in 2007 we (the Scottish Tartans Museum gift shop) will be able to offer a "fully formed" calf hose that will better fit those with large calves.
In the meantime, a lot of times ordering the next size hose up will work, so it might be worth a try. I know Gaelic Themse hose are sized S, M, L, etc, so you can't neccesarily order the next largest shoe size, or else you may end up getting the same size hose if is falls within the same size range (for instance, if you wear a size 8 and went up to a size 9, you'd get a M pair of hose in either case).
If your calves are too hard to fit, there is always the option of custom knit hose.
