Aye you can do better than 40 GBP - check ebay for the Anderson
Tartan kilt you should have 3 or more items to check on depending on the
timing of the auctions. You can go as low 30 GBP including S & H to
the USA; less if you are in the UK. This for a 5 yard poly fabric kilt.
Watch it though if you need size 38 or bigger most of the suppliers
are out of stock or charging more. If you are buying off ebay check
the sellers Feedback for customer satisfaction with the sale. If you
see anything negative in the recent past scroll down the feedback
and see just what the problem was to avoid repeating the past of
others. One item is going for 130 GBP with 15 GBP S & H to the USA.
This is a 6 yard hand made kilt. I have a dress stewart kilt from this
seller and I rate his work as average - I would not buy from him
again. One of the sellers was out of the size 38 and said he would
make me a custom 8 yard kilt for 150 GBP including S & H. This was
out of range for my budget. This same seller was selling 30-36 kilts
for 40 GBP - 15 GBP S & H. Bait and Switch tactics - I have ?????s
You can do better - perhaps by simply waiting. If you are in the USA
watch the currency exchange US$/GBP. The exchange is not so good
now. If you are not in hurry wait a week and check it again. These
auctions are going on all the time. You could save as much $10.00
with a bit of patience.
Good Luck;
