Sorry MacT, I know there's no P in Thomson...long day, was a typo...and I'm always having to correct folks spelling of my name, sorry.
One of my great great grandfather's middle name was Thomson...hence my choice of that tartan. Levi Thomson Scott. Suspect it was a maternal clan of his father's or his mother's family name. Don't know for sure yet. His father was William C. Scott...we're back about the time of the war of 1812 now.
