Is Christopher Guest still a Lord?
Off topic, but I am a huge fan of his latest pack of films. Waiting for Guffman was hilarious, as was A Mighty Wind and Best in Show. The scene of Guest and his bloodhound at their home was actually filmed down the street from me. His newest offering looks just a funny as the rest.

Yes. Christopher Haden-Guest is 5th Baron of Saling, but as a hereditary peer does not by right sit in the House of Lords since its restructuring a few years ago. He would have to be elect by his fellow hereditary peers to be among the group that represents them.
