I know it's a little off of the subject but...what about the Xmarks tartan...Where is it available? I really like it and wanted to see where I might purchase it.

I think it's done in special runs (much like these pins) and not available at present. Agreed that the tartan is awesome and I really hope to be able to afford some one day.

Mark, you'll notice that none of us moderators actually brought the copper pin up, nor have we posted pictures about the copper pins, nor have we gone on about them on the forum. Receiving the pin was a complete suprise, and one for which I am very grateful. All discussion about the copper pins we received was conducted in private.
All discusion about the pins in the open forum was brought up, discussed, and suggested by regular members of this forum....not by the moderators. I understand the frustration at a lack of options, but if you'll notice this post from September http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=20580 the forum staff had all but decided that no further Xmarks stuff would be made. There was a bit of frustration with a T shirt order, and we felt it was safer to stop the merchandise rather than have any ill will between members. Hank has allowed KCW to go ahead with this order with conditons.

Not to be a pickle Colin, but there have been at least 2 pics of the copper kilt pin posted, just for accuracies sake. You are correct though, that NO moderator has ever posted about the pins in a boastful or bragging manner. It was simply one of those things that eventually was made public as part of a community.

All clubs have things reserved for the "ossiffers." I got a watch once that only 8 in a group of 60 received. How word leaked on this kilt pin, I do not know, I do not care. But this to anyone that is upset about it. Please, please ... there are bigger things to spend energy on. Stay with us. Don't leave over the color of a kilt pin.

I think we (and yes, I am including myself in that collective 'we') have let this thread get far enough off-track. Let's steer it back to its original intent, so KCW can sort out his customer list.

Is it too late to get in on this? I'll take one as well.

I'd like two of the kilt pins. I have the first edition and agree that its a wee problem.
