James Bond
GOOD DAY, I have enjoyed the various Bond films, but I found that the parts were the actor was kiled was the only good parts of this film. Both the banter at the meal and Bond finding the message in lipstck on his thigh from the young lady was very funny and very Bond. The rest of the film rather lame. GOOD DAY Wes
The more people that I meet the more I like my dog.

I think Diana Rigg had some good parts in that film as well.

Remember it? It's sitting on my Bond shelf in the library - still in its shrinkwrap.
I'm terrified of opening it and maybe even viewing it.

As it came up earlier:
Found on Wikipedia:
Bond's parents are named as Andrew Bond, a Scotsman, and Monique Delacroix from Canton de Vaud in Switzerland (these nationalities had previously been established in On Her Majesty's Secret Service). Bond's Scottish heritage was partly a result of Fleming being impressed with Sean Connery's screen portrayal of his character, whereas Bond's mother was named for a Swiss girl to whom Fleming was once engaged.
Therefore, according to Bond's creator, James Bond is the son of a Scot!!
Why not Bond in a Kilt?
Now, which family tartan is "Bond" supposed to be part of?

As for the TV one, thanks Panache, I forgot about that one.
Odd fact, others were also looked at to play Bond before they cast Sean, including Burt Reynolds! THEN, they decided that Bond MUST be a Brit.
Now, Reynolds in a kilt saying, "I'm Bond, James Bond." Now THAT is
Anyone seen the TV Casino Royale, any kilts in it . . .? Any Good?
BRING BACK BOND IN A KILT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(And John Steed, And Mrs. Peel . . . )

Gentlemen,
Let us out of repect to MacWage, refrain from letting this thread degenerate into another love letter to Diana Rigg. I'm sure there are many out there who do not want to hear about her beauty, her amazing high cheekbones, her large soulful eyes, her cat-like grace, her lithe and graceful figure, her subtle raising of the eye brows, her wit, her style, and of course the form fitting outfits she sported on the Avengers...err.... ...err
...um...what was I talking about?
(Sorry MacWage, I can still remember reading about Greek and Roman Mythology in 5th grade and thinking about the goddess Diana, and thinking that she must look exactly like Diana Rigg)
Cheers

Note: I have the full Avengers/Mrs. Peel DVD set (why I know so much about the "Kilted Episode"-> Castle De'Ath and Mrs. Peel's cars (A white Lotus Elan in the B/W ones and a blue one in the color ones-> one of my ABSOLUTE favorite cars of all time). The Off Topic was for myself, keeping me from bringing up Castle De'Ath (and a lit nightgown among many kilts and a "kilt-ish" out fit).
While I'm on it, a much aged Steed appears in A View to a Kill (where he dies unnecessarily and oddly), while Bond married the girl (a couple decades earlier).
(see thread in Off Topic for odd Bond idea/Question)

I prefer to think of it as that only Mrs. Peel was a true match for James Bond. Such perfection on this mortal coil is fleeting at best. It makes wonderful sense that forever after, Bond shall romance the various lovely ladies, but never again find his soul mate. (Says Panache who is a romantic sentimental fool at heart and finds "Young Sherlock Holmes" romantic for the very same reasons as OHMSS.
Cheers
