For me the fit of the J. Peterman shirt is very good since its loose about the belly. The sleeves are the same loose width as my Broadsword Jacobite type shirts.

Quality is excellent. You know how I am about quality and value...I'm still amazed at the low price.

Fabric is 100% cotton. The loose fit and cotton made it a great shirt for Phoenix when I lived down there.

I'm sorta weird about "needing" a pocket in my shirts for glasses and pens, this one doesn't have them so I don't wear it as much as other similar style found at western reenactor type stores.

It does capture the Jeffersonian look very well. Has wooden buttons so I hang it dry.

Only pic I could find on short notice (headed out for work) is this one from a disposable camera. Shows the generous four button neck opening and large buttons.

As the copy says they're cut like shirts from the 1700s. I think they work well with kilts.
