Hey, that's great Jake. It's hard when the other half isn't on the same page as you on ANY subject but even more so when it's something as emotionally charged (pride for instance) as wearing a kilt. Does this mean we may see BOTH of you at a Beer Friday at some point???

Beer Friday's are difficult both logistically, and because she hates beer. Now if we could get them to stock cider . . . I am still working on getting her to the Burns' Supper.

    Best regards,

    Jake

All I can say is my wife is so super supportive of kilt wearing she helped me start a business, she loves it, we did have a child shortly after we got married.

You know guys the one thing about your wife already being mad and you(or I), and being in the dog house is that she's already mad so why not keep wearing it. Once she get back happy with me she'll be used to it.

    Just an observation.

Since I've been kilted since childhood, I always kind of took it for granted that my SO was supportive, but in light of all the negative spousal responses recently I decided it might be time to ask. The response I got was an "Yeah! I like them." Followed by a sly grin and an "anytime you don't wear underwear is okay with me." Yep, I'll keep kilting.
