I made a delicious batch of vegetarian Scotch Eggs.

Had the boiled egg, dressed it up in a coat of Gimme-Lean veggie sausage, rolled that in a little flour, dipped it in egg, and rolled it in savory bread crumbs. Dunked them in my giant wok full of peanut oil and fried em for a wee bit.

All things considered, relatively healthy as long as it is kept as the occasional treat.

This stuff is actually pretty tasty and it is good for you! If you use peanut oil or a heart healthy oil at the right temp, the steam from the food as it cooks will actually keep the grease out as it cooks, but only if the oil is the right temp. Instead of greasy, it will be light and fluffy.

Edit. I should mention I have thought about free form cooking Scotch Eggs made from pickled eggs. Really need to try that some time. Just to see what happens.
