Doc, what kind of kilt belts do you have. If they are the kind with the small buckle in the middle of the belt, and the small strap that adjusts for length, you can shorten them by drilling out the rivets which hold the little buckle and moving them closer to the end of the belt that holds the big buckle. Then, you replace the rivets with black rivets to fill the holes left when you drilled them. It is hardly noticable. I'd post a pic of the two belts I did, but I need batteries for my camera and my check is still a week away. I got the rivets and rivet tool from Tandy Leather company.
