    I have discovered that Burlington Coats has similar priced items of formal attire. They also carry white vests if you are getting white-tie formal.

    I bought a bow tie there last summer for three bucks! it looks just like the one for which I paid much more at a formal shop.

    If you have a Charlie and need to get a little dressire that black tie, you could buy a white vest and white tie and look like a Scottish fred Astaire.
