    Welcome to the neighborhood.

    I agree, once you're been kilted for black tie affairs, there's no reason to wear a tux. I even tell my friends that the only black tie or formal clothing I own is Scottish attire so they are forewarned.

    Formally kilted

    Yes, I had gone to this event in Chicago for the past several years and had gone through the hassle of tux rental each time. I had finally *almost* decided to buy a tux when I had a sheer stroke of brilliant thought, and decided that if I were going to put all that money into formal wear, that I might as well go the kilted route. Glad I did!
