I've got an ancestor, that near as I can find came from Derry as well, and a few from Armagh and Down. (Irish, though. Like I posted on another thread, some of my ancestors I'd always been told were Scots turned out not to be.) I don't think I'd wear the Ulster tartan though. I'm a very fair skinned individual and I think that all that yellow would make me look a bit jaundiced. The Ulster red tartan would make a nice kilt though. Personally, I really want my next tartan to be Armagh. Considering I'm a poor undergrad, about to be a poor grad student, it's not real likely though.
