Silver Lion Complete!

Merry Christmas to all!
Since we are 6 hours ahead of the East Coast of the USA, Christmas morning has come here already. With just my wife and I, it's pretty quiet.

Vicki really surprised me this year however. She booked a tour of Scotland from July 31st to August 4th, 2007!

Start in Glagow, then Loch Lomond, Ft. William, Loch Ness, Blair Atholl, Stirling, and ending in Edinburgh, with tickets to the Tatoo!

We may try to take a side trip to Dumfries in advance of the tour, so I'll be in contact with Robertson later.

Finished the Silver Rampant Lion Sporran (#6) this morning. Here it is with my Ancient Hay kilt and a grey sweatshirt. Pretty casual.
I think the Lion stands out nicely.

I look forward to hearing everyone's Christmas stories today. Just plan on sitting here, listening to Celtic Christmas music, with my Rampant Lion Sporran and my Recumbent Lion (Toni the Cat) sleeping on my lap. She finds kilts so much easier to sleep on than pants!.

Yes he is.... I went to Scotland in 2004 and missed the Tattoo by 5 days! It is one of those things I only get to enjoy vicariously! I hope,Tom, that you enjoy your tour and the Tattoo!

Awesome sporran.

Awesome Christmas present. I was in Scotland back in October and November of 2000... loved every minute I spent there. I wish I could go back... and I will one of these days, as my eldest continuously begs to do so.

As for me... I got a claymore for Christmas. It should go well with the Scottish attire I tend to wear to Ren Faires. I'm looking to make my own backslung baldric now!
