Please, please, please spend the money to upgrade from soccer socks to kilt hose. The kilt looks awesome, but the see-through socks detract, in my opinion. I know $20 can seem like a lot to spend on socks, but it's well worth it. I only have a few pair myself, and I rotate them and re-wear them between washes, but then again I do have a hiker's mentality about what "clean" means.

Unfortunatly I only noticed this after we uploaded them. I plan on purchasing a pair of 100% wool hose soon and my brother and I are going to be making some vests, so we'll have to post some more pics when we get it all together
