Here is a picture (I hope, first time posting).
I realize that many xmarkers dislike the Jacobite shirts, so I'm thinking of trying it with my black wool commando sweater. Should be toasty in our near freezing weather.

I think you look just fine in the shirt. A lot of people can pull off that 'look' and be ok with it.

You have to have the right look for a jacobite shirt, a few years ago I could have pulled it off not so much anymore, but you do pull it off quite nicely.

You made a great choice on the Stillwater. Of the 13 kilts I have 7 are Stillwater and I am waiting for another one. BTW You look great in that kilt combo.

Thanks all for the vote of confidence. I'm thinking with the sweater being v neck I could add a splash of colour. Maybe I should get the wife for some fashion coordination tips... you know get her a little more involved! I tell ya this shadow tartan is something else. It could be the official tartan of special ops regiments - Navy SeALs, SAS, JTF2. If it were do you think they'd tell us?

    Congratulations Grant,

You look good in a kilt.
SWK provides a good product. I have the Saffron, a Weathered Lamont, and as of yesterday, the Black Stewart!
Hope this is the first of many for you.

    Tom

If it were JTF2 sure wouldnt say a thing, and I dont think customs would like it much.

Congrats on your SWK purchase. I have two from them and I'm amazed at the quality. I ordered one from their clearance/discontinued webpage (8 yarder) and because it had a hole in the under apron, they only wanted $50. Fixed the hole and it looks like NEW (it IS new). Have fun at your event!
