If I may suggest the Craill jacket that we carry:

It's charcoal grey, but not a tweed, so it will be lighter weight (which means you can wear it more often in Cary, NC). Also, it comes standard with a matching vest, so that's a bonus. It's a real sharp looking jacket and I think will look great paried with the colors in the Irish National.
If you are looking for a really inexpensive tweed kilt jacket, your best bet is just to find a good deal on a tweed sportscoat through a local second-hand shop and either shorten it yourself or pay a local alteration shop to do it for you. There are lots of threads on this forum about doing just that.
You *might* get lucky and find a good Ebay deal on a tweed jacket your size, but in my experience they are rare in anything over a 38 or so.
