If on the right day, Nix and I could "carpool."
On a note, Brett, we are 45-hour from Columbiana and 1.5 or so from Fort Jackson (I've had to drive to the Hobby Lobby there a few times). Fort Jackson is on the OTHER side of town (east).
Also, Steeplechase (if he is still around) is over in Camden, just down I-20 from Columbia!
A gathering is VERY do-able!
How long will you be at Fort Jackson?
Do you have wheels there?

Well Then lets get the word out and do some kilted rabble rousing here in Columbia.... Yes I have transportation and I am going to be here till at least March

Note of explanation to others:
Jackson is a training base and a few soldiers are based there, some rotate in and out over a few months and others are the fairly briefly.
