I made my first kilt off internet instructions. It was OK and most would think it was fine, BUT I'd advise Barb's book as FAR more usable, understandable, and well worth the $30 (US) or so. It is: The Art of Kiltmaking by Barbara Tewksbury and Elsie Stuehmeyer

    Hello from Fremont, CA

Alan H's fantastic instructions are here:

    http://www.modelautoracing.com/kilt/X-Kilt_final2.pdf

I road tested the link as it's hosted on my domain. yes, it's there so download away. Feel free to PM me if you are having trouble getting it to download.

It's a PDf file, so you will need Acrobat Reader. If you don't already have it, you can download it free here:

If you have trouble with the instructions, I am sure that someone on the forum will be able to talk you through it. Be prepared to take pictures when you are finished!

    Happy Kilting,
    Ray
