Because the pipe major said so. Personally, I'd like green and gold. Among other things, red trim fades quicker than any other color.

Yeah, my band has black cords. It's pretty standard and will go with any kilt I wear.

Sadly (well, my creditors don't think so), I've a wedding next Saturday, so I won't be able to make it. Not only is SFU the host band, but a bunch of the lads are getting a group rate at one of the Disney resorts, and repairing en masse to Raglan Road on Pleasure Island after the Games...*sigh*

Guess I'll just have to take my pipes down to Flanagan's...prolly the only piper in the county that evening.

Just booked a wedding today for March 31st; same day as the Dunedin Highland Games *sigh*
