Grand Canyon in my Utilikilts Leather Kilt

Great photos as always, Ron. I particularly like the 'layered look' - Grief! How many tops were you wearing out there?!

We have still not seen any snow, but the first fall for about three/four years is forecasted for this week across the whole United Kingdom. I doubt we'll get very much down here - ½" or so at best, I should think.

I hope to get over to Grand Canyon whilst on one of my October return visits to Palm Springs one of these years - one is allowed to dream, I think!

Computers is weird. Have you tried checking my galleries, the pics are in there under the type of kilt. Usually one or the other gallery will work.

And Ham, it certainly was more survival than fashion. I actually took off a layer. It was cold and windy. Had on a t-shirt, sweater, vest, jacket, and in the pic below a replica greatcoat. A greatcoat with a kilt is a poor attempt at an Inverness Cape but it kept me warm on a very cold and windy day. And, still, I had to unbotton it for the pic to show the kilt. I did get some unusual looks from the vast array of folks from many cultures who were at the canyon.

And, kilting along the edge in the canyonlands one must always remember that the cold winds blow UP from the canyons below....
