Black leather Converse high tops.
And nice looking ones too. I could never wear such a thing.

Nick "oot and aboot" are you making fun of us Canadians?
Most people think I am Canadian  And no, I'm not making fun of Canadians. None of the Canadians I've met talk with the stereotypical Canadian accent, and I say "eh?" all the time. The Yooper accent was influenced by Canada almost as much as by Finland.

I'm ok with t-shirts depending on where you're going.
Personally I don't like tennis shoes. I think a kilt worn casually looks better with hiking boots.
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

I was on a trip and forgot my pool shoes. The next day I was at Wal-Mart and saw a pair of Wally World "Crocs". They cost about 9 dollars. Weight next to nothing, soft feel great at the price. These are slip on clog style and I am not sure if I would wear them with at kilt but who knows.

Macwage,
I just noticed that your hose/flashes/footwear matches your Lotus themed Miata. Cool!

I was wearing my kilt to work the other day with brown sporran, and belt so I was wearing my Timberlands with it. They are the only brown shoes I have right now. I was told that those shoes aren't dressy enough for a kilt, you never know when the fashion police will strike.
