Dragonmead!! Perfect place for a kilt night. I'll put up a posting and see what comes of it.

I'm glad to hear your first kilted outing was a positive experience - they usually are. You'll find that the more you wear a kilt in public the more confidence you will have. Great story. And as Ron said, you will learn how to tell what the kilt is doing in the wind and how to control it.

The wind is your friend, although a sometimes prank playing friend. Sounds like you and your wife had a good first outing. Be prepared for more and more questions.

Congratulations and keep it up. A kilt is just another garment to wear, like pants; but more comfortable. Wear it often and proudly.

I really don't care what Mississippians think about my kilt cause I got me a good lookin woman who loves a man in a kilt! What better reason to wear one?
Ah. Mississippi. I lived in Jones County, a few miles North of Hebron, in the early sixties and I'm here to tell you that I doubt if anyone around there had ever even seen a picture of a kilt, much less the real thing. So--more power to you! As you have already discovered it is no big deal.
