One of the joys of my UKs is the flexibility in the waist. I didn't expect it. But be careful to get the models without the double snaps on the waist band.
The models with the double snaps on the waistband are less flexible. Though, a person could leave those waistband snaps undone and get some flexibility.
No clue why, but for the models that are still just the six apron snaps there's room for a couple more inches of waist growth. Remember, they're usually worn under the belly if you got one.
My weight ranges back and forth over a ten pound range and I can still wear my UKs
And, as others have mentioned, if you can get to one of their gig booths you can give them a hands on try.
