There you go, Guys! It is not so difficult is it?
Two really splendid HMIIs, one each from Jim and TartanHiker. Then we have a brave, somewhat limp-wristed attempt by Dirka, a great one-legged 'Dread' by Dread (which hardly qualifies as a HMII !), and The F-H.C.A.G. gives us a spirited and impressive something-or-other which is not recognisable as a HMII, but is nevertheless quite delightful.
Guidelines for the achievement of a Championship-quality 'Hamish Mark II' :
1) The body should be upright, with the head facing the front
2) The Right arm and the Right lower leg should be in line
3) The Right and Left arms should be extended in equal measure and both should be the same height from the ground

No way, dude. I'm as sure-footed as a mountain goat!
We've had so little snow this year that this wee dusting we got last evening was enough to make me do a MKII even without the recent challenge!

Is it prudent to specify the camera angle for this pose in order to maintain the family-friendliness of this forum??
I can see potential challenges in a populous location, like a pub!!!
