Ron,
The F-H.C.A.G. just ordered a semi-traditional from Rocky yesterday!
I'll be glad to share "gang" colors with you and Tatoobradley (though I'm a Mcleod by marriage only). This will be my first USA Kilt and I'm already laying out my red polo shirt, red beret, off white hose, and red flashes. I'll be the only kilted fellow in California viewable from orbit!
Cheers

Congrats! Canary bait for sure!
There was a lady at the Mesa, AZ games in a Loud MacLeod tartan skirt and sash. Was gonna ask to take her picture but wasn't sure the camera sensors could handle the load.
Pointed her out to my red haired lady as the tartan I was awaiting and she became sort of nauseaous...each to their own.
On the way home stopped at the surplus store in Mesa and ran across a bright red t-shirt with "Marines" in yellow across the chest. Its awaiting the kilt now too.

I'll proudly sport them with you. But, I should point out: I have no affiliation (not even marriage) to the McLeod clan. I just think the tartan is awesome. Plus, Rocky does a good sales pitch for it. I hope to be ordering mine sometime in the future. Will probably be another casual. I really dig those...

No affiliation either (that I know of yet) but did wanna get a kilt pin to go with it at the games last weekend. All the vendors had MacLeod kilt pins with the hold fast/bull head rather than the sun that goes with MacLeod of Lewis.
Guess its time for some surfing to see if anyone makes one. As few kilt pins as were out there may need to settle for a sun pin of some sort.

Well it takes a certain pan...err...flair to pull off the Mcleod of Lewis tartan.
I'm still very happy to share those colors with you two gentlemen.

I wonder if Robin could make one?

I'm thinking of putting together the most obnoxious Loud Macleod outfit I can think up for everyone in the family for the next Scottish Games we attend. Then, if I lose any family members, I can just walk up to ANYONE and say "Did you see..." and they'll just stare and point in the direction of the missing family member(s). How about bumblebee hose, bright yellow shirts, red vests and matching bumblebee tams? With matching cat's eye sunglasses in bright purple!
Be well,

With that outfit, ma'am, I think the reply would be, "Until I saw that outfit. Now I'm blind!"

Don't forget the helium-filled Saltire baloon on a 3 foot string to be tied to the top of each tam!
